Craft Beer Label Design

Leger was a collaboration between Mali Div craft brewery and Lega-lega brand, both from Osijek. The idea behind the bottle label was an illustration that's kind of a love letter to Osijek: it contains city's key sights and it's identity colors – blue and white intertwined with basic beer-brewing ingredients. The style is deliberately simple and geometric mirroring the beer's recipe main goal: an unpretentious and easy going summer beer for everyone to enjoy on the banks of Osijek's river Drava and it's famous beach Kopika.

The attention-grabbing label was a huge hit in Osijek with people investigating the illustration and finding symbolism in it's lines. The name is also a quintessential made-in-Osijek kinda word. People in Osijek call eachother "lega", a shorthand for colleague. Therefore it was only natural to combine that with a beer variant and have Leger to enjoy throughout hot Osijek summer.
