Sport is the Energy that moves Croatia

The challenge was clear: create an ad that would inspire, embolden and give goosebumps. This was our greatest sports shoot ever, with over top 25 athletes from 11 different disciplines across 4 whole days of shooting. The result is a highly dynamic yet elegant representation of the Croatian spirit of competition. With striking backgrounds and lightning techniques as well as a full choir interpreting a Croatian nostalgic classing song, the impact is as felt as it is seen.

Shooting live ammo on set is frowned upon so that's what's VFX is for. The explosion of a clay dove looks surprisingly strinking in real life and by using smoke simulations and rigid body simulations, we were able to get very close to the real deal. Using VFX also allowed us to easily tweak the lighting conditions and fit the cinematic larger than life style of the ad. This particular effect was created using Blender and Embergen.
